Peng was a student of teachings from the famous Wat Pho temple in Bangkok Thailand. For centuries the Wat Pho temple has been an epicenter for spiritual Buddhist learning. As Thai people see yoga and massage in general as an essential part of spiritual well being, it’s only natural that Thai & Yoga massage is taught and practiced on the temple grounds.
Traditional Thai yoga massage is a cross between acupressure, deep tissue and yoga. The massage uses slow, rhythmic compressions and stretches along the body’s energy lines, called “Sen” in Thai. This is a very intense technique often used to replace or supplement traditional physical therapies.
Deep Tissue Massage and Sport Massages are like techniques one would commonly receive at a Chiropractors office. It is designed to relieve pain and muscle tension throughout the body. This type of massage is extremely beneficial because it reaches the deepest layer of muscles, fascia (connective tissue surrounding the joints) and tendons. These massage techniques result in greater flexibility and range of motion along with muscle relaxation. Great for sports like golf, kick boxing and tennis.
